Volunteer
Your time is precious, and we appreciate that gift! Iowa Care Community manages volunteers for Iowa City Hospice patients, and for fundraising events, special projects, and office work. All volunteers must be 18 or over. We do make exceptions for the Walk for Dignity, which welcomes families.
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application, and meet with our volunteer coordinator. Hospice volunteers that work with patients and families must complete a training course, pass a background check, and make a one-year service commitment.
